Once registered, you’ll receive information on where/when to pick-up your shirt. Remember: Your shirt is your “meal ticket” for the Olympic Luncheon on Saturday, September 30 at the Clubhouse. HOA LIVING WELL COMMITTEE CONTACT PERSON IS TIFFANY SMITH RAMZY: tiffstab@gmail.com FORMAT and RULES Five courts will be set up at 8:45am. Play will begin at 9:30am. Players can play as many matches as time will allow. The more you play, the more points you can earn. Regular Club League rules apply, with the following changes: Olympic Bocce use a “SPEED BOCCE” format. Players will organize into teams of 4 on-the-fly, find an opponent team of 4 players, designate a timekeeper, and play a 1-GAME MATCH. Players are encouraged to play on several different teams and on several different courts. If players can’t agree on their teams or opponents, they will be assigned by the Commissioner. The first five matches will play on courts as assigned by the Commissioner. Subsequent matches will be played on the first available court. It will be a scramble for each player to earn as many points as possible. Matches will be 15 minutes long or first to 11 points, with a 5-minute break between matches. Matches may end in a tie. Once the timer goes off, you must stop and record your score - even if not all Bocce have been rolled in the frame. Points earned in a match will be awarded to each player on the team. For example: If a final score is 11 - 6, all four players on the winning team get 11 points, while all 4 players on the losing team get 6 points each. In the event of a tie, all 8 players receive the same number of points. Special scoresheets will be provided. Each player will be responsible for keeping their own score sheet, totaling it, and presenting it to the Commissioner at the conclusion of play. Since every player will have their own score, final standings will be by player, not by team. This is an individual event. The players with the top two highest point totals will be recognized as 1st and 2 nd places. Playoff matches may be held in the event of a tie. The top two winners will be announced at the Saturday Luncheon

Cycling - Robson Ranch Event Rules - September 1-29
The event will start on Friday, September 1 and finish on Friday, September 29.
All participants must be registered with the Robson Ranch Olympics Committee.
All participants must be residents of Robson Ranch.
All participants must wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws while riding during the event period except when riding indoors. Miles can be ridden on or off Robson Ranch.
By entering you are registered in two event categories. A single individual will be allowed to win both categories. Electric powered bikes are allowed but a rider should use the electric assist sparingly.
Most miles: Simply the total number of miles ridden from 12:01 a.m. September 1 through 11:59 p.m. September 29. Both outside and inside miles count equally.
Most 5-mile rides: The greatest number of single rides of 5 miles or more separated by at least 2 hours between rides (Riding a route of 3 miles each way to and from the fitness center where a person worked out for an hour would not qualify as a single ride of 5 miles or more. However, it would count as 6 miles toward the total mileage contest). The person with the most 5-mile or more single rides during the contest period wins.
Participants will report their total weekly mileage, and total number of 5-mile or more rides, each week using an electronic form that will be e-mailed to each participant. Winners will be determined by mileage and ride data received by 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 30.
Robson Ranch Olympics will provide a prize, typically a gift certificate, to the winner of each category.
These rules may be revised before or during the competition for clarification or to ensure fair competition. Riders will be emailed revised rules if needed.
Question about the rules should be directed to randycatron@gmail.com, or 515.480.7030 .
